Benaulim is one of the most beautiful beaches in south Goa. The beach has a crescent shaped shoreline dotted with swaying palm trees. The best thing about Benaulim beach is that it has remained a rather un spoilt beach even though it is a famous tourist destination. The beach lies to the south of Colva beach and at a distance of 6 kms. from the city of Margao.
The Benaulim beach resort dominates the shoreline on one side of the beach. People often visit the beach in the evenings and on weekends. During this time the beach is sometimes crowded. There are a few shacks on the beach and a few good hotels in the area.
